Kathy Torske

Kathy Torske, CPA, CFIRS, Chief Executive Officer, joined American Trust Center in 2005. Kathy is a graduate of Dickinson State University with Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. Prior to joining American Trust Center, Kathy had over 5 years banking experience and 5 years public accounting experience with Eide Bailly, LLP. Kathy most recently served as American Trust Center’s Safety and Soundness Officer and was responsible for overseeing the safety and soundness of the organization. As CEO, she handles executive responsibilities for the overall operation of the company, executes the business plan, acts as primary risk manager of all corporate activities, leads the company’s people portfolio, and leverages opportunities among all American entities.

Gerald Galloway Gerald D. Galloway, Board Member and President, joined American Trust Center in 1999. Gerald holds a B.S.B.A. degree from U.N.D. and is a graduate of the U.N.D. School of Law.  He has practiced law for 34 years. His practice has been concentrated in Business, Municipal, Estate and Real Estate Law.  He has represented many cities and businesses within the area. Gerald has worked with and represented foundation boards. He has also served on state and local boards. He retired as a Colonel from the Judge Advocate Corp. of the North Dakota Army National Guard.  Gerald concentrates on holding company and trust company management, as well as business, estate and trust planning. Gerald is semi-retired, but along with his Board and Committee assignments, remains a resource for the CEO and American Trust Center staff.
Bob Willer, Senior Vice President, Business Development Manager, joined American Trust Center in September of 2013. Bob earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Dickinson State University. He spent 28 years in the real estate industry, founding and owning his company in Bismarck while serving in various professional capacities including State Association President, ND Real Estate Commissioner, and board member of both the National Association of Realtors and ARELLO (Association of Real Estate License Law Officials). Bob then worked 13 years in the Wealth Management Division of Bell State Bank & Trust where he managed the Employee Benefit Retirement Services Division. He later became Business Development Manager for the entire divison. In his role at American Trust Center, Bob maintains and builds business relationships and is responsible for the development of business throughout North Dakota and eastern Montana.
Russell D. Schank Russell D. Schank, CTFA, AIF®, Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer, has been with American Trust Center since 1987. Russ oversees the Portfolio Management area as well as administers Personal Trust and Investment Accounts. He is an honor graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Prior to joining American Trust Center, Russ spent four years with a regional investment firm.

Michael Tschider, J.D., Vice President & Retirement Plan Services Risk Manager, joined American Trust Center in 2013. Mike holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of North Dakota and is a graduate of the UND School of Law. Mike has more than 10 years experience working in the Retirement Services area in the capacity as in-house ERISA attorney for retirement plan administration and compliance firms.  Most recently, Mike was attorney and Director of ERISA Consulting at Goldleaf Partners, a national retirement plan administration firm. In this capacity, Mike worked with both internal and external clients to solve complex retirement plan issues. Mike supports the Trust Center and its external clients in the areas of retirement plan design, IRS and Department of Labor rules, and overall plan fiduciary responsibilities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Cindy A. Steiner

Cindy A. Steiner, CRSP, Vice President and Retirement Services Plan Manager, began with American Trust Center in 1990, and has been in the financial services industry since 1987.  Cindy's primary responsibilities are in the Retirement Plan Services area, working with qualified plan implementation, account administration, employee education, and business development.  She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute's Retirement Plan Services School and has extensive knowledge of the complex laws and regulations which govern qualified plans.

Thecla Ohlhauser Thecla Ohlhauser, CTFA, Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager, has been with American Trust Center since 1997.  Thecla has more than 20 years of Personal Trust and Retirement Plan Services administration experience.  She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School and also has extensive trust operations experience and expertise.  Thecla’s primary responsibilities are building and maintaining client relationships in the Retirement Plan Services and Personal Trust areas.
Andrea Haider

Andrea Haider, CRSP, Assistant Vice President and Trust Operations Manager, joined American Trust Center in 2001. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and over 10 years of trust operations experience.  Andrea manages the trust accounting and retirement plan services operations department which includes daily processing and overall account compliance.  She also acts as a facilitator between the internal and external departments.  She is an honor graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Retirement Plan Services School and has extensive knowledge of the complex laws and regulations, which govern qualified plans.

Missy thompson

Missy Thompson, CPA, MBA, Assistant Vice President of Safety and Soundness, joined American Trust Center in 2012.  Missy is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree and Masters of Business Administration.  Prior to joining American Trust Center, Missy had over 7 years of public accounting experience with Eide Bailly, LLP in the audit department specializing in compliance audits.

As Safety and Soundness Officer, Missy is responsible for overseeing the Safety and Soundness of the organization.  Safety and Soundness activities are those that assure us that our internal and external activities comply with the laws, rules, regulations, and policies pertaining to them.

Ardie M. Poppe Ardie M. Poppe, Trust Officer, joined American Trust Center in 2007 and works in the Retirement Plan Services area. Ardie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary and has over 35 years of trust experience. Ardie’s primary responsibilities are in the Retirement Plan Services area, working with plan implementation and administration. She works directly with employers to build and maintain client relationships for our retirement plan services area.
Joseph Heringer Joseph Heringer, J.D., CTFA, Personal Trust Manager – Central Region, has been with American Trust Center since 2007. Joseph is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and an Honor Graduate of the Cannon Trust School. He graduated with honors from the University of North Dakota School of Law after receiving his undergraduate degree from Concordia College (magna cum laude) in Moorhead, Minnesota. Joseph manages the Central Region of the Personal Trust Division of the Company, along with administering fiduciary accounts and working with clients on investment, estate planning and trust issues. Prior to joining American Trust Center, he practiced law as an associate attorney for Faegre & Benson LLP in Minneapolis before moving back to Bismarck where he was founder and president of Heringer Law, Ltd. While in private practice, Joseph provided estate planning and business law legal services to his local and regional clientele.
Wendy

Wendy S. Keller, CTFA, joined American Trust Center in 2007 as a Trust Officer. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Moorhead State University and graduated with honors from Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School.  She has over 27 years of financial services experience in trust, personal banking, credit analysis, operations and mortgage. She administers fiduciary accounts, with a focus on Personal Trusts, Investment Management Agency accounts, and IRA's.

Blaine Stockert, CTFA, Personal Trust Manager – West Region, joined American Trust Center in 2006. Blaine obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Dickinson State University and has over 14 years experience as a Registered Representative and Trust Officer. Blaine is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School. Blaine manages the West Region of the Personal Trust Division of the Company, as well as working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. He also administers fiduciary accounts, with a focus on Personal Trust administration, Agency accounts, and IRA's, as well as new business development.

Russell R. Murphy Russell R. Murphy, CTFA, Trust Officer, joined American Trust Center in 2008. Russell obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. He has several years experience working in the small business arena and most recently worked as a Registered Representative with a national investment firm. Russell administers fiduciary accounts, with a focus on Personal Trust administration, Agency accounts, and IRA's, as well as new business development.
Pam Andrist, CTFA, Trust Officer, joined American Trust Center in 2007.  Pam has fulfilled the roles of Trust Associate and Trust Administrator and was promoted to Trust Officer in 2012. She has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry.  Pam’s primary responsibilities include administration of accounts, with a focus on Personal Trust, Investment Management Agency and Individual Retirement Accounts.   
Shawn Fitterer

Shawn J. Fitterer, Trust Officer, joined American Trust Center in April 2012.  Shawn obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management, Marketing, and Finance from Dickinson State University.  He has several years of banking experience servicing customer’s needs.  Shawn administers fiduciary accounts, with a focus on Personal Trust Administration, Agency accounts, and IRA’s, as well as new business development.

Mike Mike J. Senechal, CRC®, Trust Officer, joined American Trust Center in 2012. Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. He holds a Series 7 and 66 securities license. He worked as an Investment Advisor Representative for a national investment firm preparing customized financial plans for financial advisors and their clients. He also has several years experience working with retirement plan services and administration. Mike administers fiduciary accounts with a focus on investments, financial planning, and Personal Trust Administration, as well as new business development.
